The asymmetrical mantel show has been trending for just a few years, these garlands which are off middle and swag to the left or proper. This 12 months I created an asymmetrical garland in my lounge and I like the way in which it turned out.
Mine is a mix of combined actual garland (fir and juniper) and fake pine garland that I can reuse, with eucalyptus added for texture and scent. Mini string lights and gold berries full the look. I share just a few extra up shut pictures on Instagram.
Asymmetrical garlands take extra time to put in than symmetrical ones. It requires one to always tweak the association till steadiness is achieved. Where garland is heavier to at least one aspect, decor like stockings or candlesticks balances the burden.
Below are just a few extra examples of mantels with asymmetrical garlands swagged to the left or proper to encourage.
