There have been a number of large modifications concerning use of lumber in my lifetime, particularly because it pertains to furnishings making. And one of many greatest (each figuratively and actually) is using slab lumber. I confess that I used to be immediately on the bandwagon when people began bringing thick slabs with or with out pure edges into their constructing routine. It struck me as modern and aesthetically pleasing.

As with the way in which of the world, I’m guessing that sooner or later this development will look outdated-long-established and dated — like my plaid pants and platform sneakers from highschool. But till that point comes, this can be a wave I’m using proper to the shore.
