Being a frugal farm boy at coronary heart, I lower fabric-backed abrasives for my sanders off of longer rolls to economize. That dulls my utility knife blade in simply a few cuts. Rather than go get a new blade each time, I pull out my pliers and break off the boring portion of the tip. It offers me a recent leading edge. I can do that about 4 instances earlier than turning the blade round within the knife or getting a new blade.
