I began off by taking just a few maple boards, squaring them up, and minimize them into strips to attach up the underside panel. Once these had been dry, I took the panel over to my CNC for the customized engraving. I made a decision to go along with “Tognacci” as its a Christmas reward for a member of the family. Next, I grabbed some walnut and began engaged on the surface a part of the tray. I attempted one thing new with this one and used a steady grain sample all the best way round with my mitered corners. Came out nice! To safe the joints, I used my spline jig and minimize out some slots to place in some items of maple. I sanded the whole lot down, utilized some mineral oil, and completed it with some paste wax. I hope you benefit from the video and let me know in case you have any questions down within the remark part under!
