A wonderful small Black Oak Wood Mallet Hammer. I made this small mallet to maintain with me for sounding bushes to test for rot or hollows beneath the bark. It’s the right dimension for that. There are a number of small tweaks I’d change however imperfections add character. I personally love the top product and it was tremendous enjoyable to make. I completed it with only one coat of Mahoney’s Walnut Oil. It offers it a fast primary layer of safety and a lovely look too. Enjoy!
