In this challenge, you will note how to construct a customized window sill and apron (the trim under the windowsill) from commonplace lumber and trim. The steps embody:
• checking for spacing
• shopping for materials (5/four or 1 1/four inch thick boards)
• reducing the brand new windowsill to it is tough dimensions
• becoming the window sill to the wall
• figuring out the size of the horns on the window sill
• including edge particulars to create a lovely profile
• constructing an apron to set up beneath the window sill
• gluing up the returns of the apron trim for element on the ends
• trimming the apron
• putting in the apron
Once the window sills (technically known as window stools) and aprons have been put in, the nail holes have been patched and the elements have been painted with no-VOC semi gloss paint.
